Dear Friends,
It gives me great pleasure to introduce the new issue of Apna Ashiana. In the past issues, we witnessed accomplishments, big and small steps taken to bring a smile on the faces of our residents and engaging in exciting activities that make every day living in Ashiana, a delightful experience. I take pride in the number and variety of activities organised for our residents, employees, contractual staff and laborer's children. Makes me recall dad’s vision that, “Ashiana is not only about creating a high-quality project but it is also about touching people’s lives”. I am so glad, we have been able to do that every single time.
Our dream of creating more spaces where our kids learn new skills will soon be active at Ashiana Anmol, a feature that not just focuses on elite infrastructure but also the kind of activities kids engage in. Another good news that I would like to share with all of you is,
in the last quarter we had better sales than the same period last year. We owe this success to the Ashiana Smiles campaign, where our existing residents got rewarded with points for referring new customers.
Lastly, I would like to thank our seniors who participated in the Jashn Event and shared their photographs on social media. It thrilled me to learn that some customers created social media accounts specifically to share their feelings about Jashn! Here’s looking forward to another interesting quarter, full of fun and happiness! Always Keep Smiling

Training & Development

With an array of 29 trainings, 526 employees of Ashiana were benefited from the program, organised in alignment with BHAG. Stating a few below:
First Time Manager's Training: Leading a team, keeping them motivated to produce best results, delegation, effective management of the team and handling different personalities is a tough job. To help them hone these skills, a Dale Carnegie Flagship Programme - ‘How to Manage Like a Pro’ was organized for 21 employees.
High Impact Presentations: A customized, residential 2 day workshop for 24 people was set up to help train our young managers develop the knack of presenting with ease & finesse.
Winning Negotiations: This training was aimed at equipping professionals with the ability to become credible and powerful negotiators. The training had 42 attendees from different departments and grades.
Zimbra Email Training: Emails are an integral part of our daily life and are a vital tool for communication. A training on how to use features of the email software was set up to help our employees use this powerful tool more effectively. Sales Closures: Closing is distinguished from ordinary practices such as explaining a product's benefits or justifying an expense. It is reserved for more artful means of persuasion. 25 sales executives were trained on how to effectively close their sales with finesse and winning trust of the customers to foster long term relationships based on trust.
English Communication: Most of us are non-native speakers of the English language. This required customized English communication classes which was introduced for a group of 20 in order to enhance both written & oral communication skills.
Ashiana Foundation
The little ones of Phoolwari shared the message of a green and healthy environment by organizing a clean-up drive at various operative locations of Ashiana followed by Plantation drive on Gandhi Jayanti.
Phoolwari Kids Celebrating Festivals
What can be a better way of celebrating Navratri & Dusshera than dressing up like the characters of Ramayana. The children enjoyed by participating in the Ravana making Craft activity
Celebrating the festival of lights, the kids of Phoolwari indulged themselves in the festive spirit by creating colorful diyas, rangoli etc. It was indeed a fun sight to watch the kids create their master pieces in Jaipur.
Children's Day Celebration
Children’s Day was celebrated with a range of activities at all Phoolwari schools. The kids enjoyed the Puppet Show at Phoolwari, Jaipur whereas at Ashiana Shubham, Chennai, kids spent the day with seniors. The children of Phoolwari in Bhiwadi celebrated the day by spending quality time with differently abled children of Aastha School, Bhiwadi.
Christmas & New Year Celebrations
With a lot of joy and excitement, the kids of Phoolwari celebrated Christmas and New Year together. The kids decorated their Christmas Tree with bells and stars with Santa joining the celebration
Annual Day Celebrations
Celebrating the annual day on the theme - Cultures of India, the kids showcased their talent by representing different states & performed a skit on Literacy to promote the importance of education.
The kids of Ashiana Tarang, Bhiwadi had fun performing different Yoga asanas.
To know why we celebrate Navratri, kids of Ashiana Tarang, Bhiwadi watched a methodological movie.
Field trip to a farm for the kids of Phoolwari was organised by Ashiana Dwarka, Jodhpur.
Skill Development Programme
108 labourers benefitted with 4 new skill training batches of Asst. Mason Trade in Bhwiadi, Sohna and Jaipur. The 2nd Skill Training batch started at Oxirich Group, Bhiwadi under outreach Skill Development Programme.

Fun & Educational Outdoor Trip
It was a fun yet an educational trip for the kids of Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi and Ashiana Umang, Jaipur. Ashiana Town kids learned about different aspects of the train at the Rail museum, Rewari whereas the kids of Ashiana Umang enjoyed and had fun at the Bhamashah Technohub.
Christmas Celebrations
The families at Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi enjoyed Christmas Carnival by watching their kids perform and dance whereas the residents of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur had fun at the dance party.
Navratri Celebrations
The kids of Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi showcased the Mythological play of Ramleela and spread divinity all around and the residents of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur celebrated Navratri by organizing a Dandiya night.
It’s Tambola Time!
After dinner, its time for entertainment! Our residents of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur surely had fun on the Tambola night.
Karvachauth Celebrations
Our ladies of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur celebrated Karwachauth by playing lots of games.
Scholarship Exam by Byjus
Kids of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur got a platform to win a scholarship & live their deams! 5 kids got selected for the level 2 scholarship exam.
Family Time
A family sports event was organized named Bachpan Gali at Ashiana Umang, Jaipur where parents & kids came together to play games like Pithu, Kho-Kho & Tug-of-War. This was enjoyed by all the residents
Skating Rink Inauguration
Happiness All Around: The champs of Ashiana town were very happy with the inauguration of the Skating Rink. The parents appreciated the efforts and were excited to watch their kids learn and perform.
Cleanliness Drive
Kids from Ashiana Town contributed in the Swachhata Abhiyan through slogan shout-outs while Ashiana Umang kids presented an awareness skit on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The Little Storytellers
The kids of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur participated in story expressing session where 25 kids expressed their emotions by sharing different kinds of stories.
Fun, frolic and enjoyment as the kids participated in skating & women played Tambola at Ashiana Dwarka which has an average of 90 families residing
A Quiz Competition was conducted for the kids of Ashiana Umang, Jaipur where some of the books were selected according to the age group and then questionnaire was prepared.
On Childrens' Day, the parents and kids performed together on their favourite songs and took memorable pictures to cherish at Ashiana Town, Bhwadi and Ashiana Umang, Jaipur.

The Possession is About to Start!
A moment of happiness for us! The construction work of PH-1 at Ashiana Anmol, Sohna (Gurgaon) is about to be completed and we will soon start with the possession.
"Step outside, the world is yours to explore." Kids along with their parents of Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi went down for an exciting excursion to the "Educational Academy".
To provide the right "Mahaul" to kids, an International Level Tennis Expert - Mr Jitin Bishnoi was invited to take a session, where he shared his experience with the parents and also answered the queries about career in sports at Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi.
Maths & English Olympiad was organized for the kids from 1st to 9th standard at Ashiana Umang, Jaipur where kids took Olympiad exam in different batches.
Congratulations to the kids of Ashiana Town, Bhiwadi for securing 5 individual positions at the Indian Abacus National Level Competition Wishing you many more successes.

Post Jashn Celebrations
The enthusiasm and excitement of our residents was not over! The residents of Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi enjoyed the evening with samosa & tea whereas the residents of Ashiana Utsav, Jaipur & Ashiana Shubham, Chennai had a grand get together to enjoy the Jashn moments.
A Day Out!
The seniors of Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi had fun with the kids on a road trip to Lohagarh Farms whereas the seniors of Ashiana Shubham, Chennai had a visit to Kanchipuram temple.
A lot of new faces, a lot of new fun! Month-end parties surely bring joy on the faces of our seniors at all Ashiana Senior Living projects.
The festival began with Durga Puja and Bhajans at all Ashiana Senior Living projects. The residents of Ashiana Utsav, Bhiwadi had an awesome dandiya night where they showcased their garba skills.
Seniors and Dance! It was a sight to watch the seniors dancing with so much energy. The seniors of Ashiana Shubham, Chennai enjoyed their Zumba session
An educational session on investment was organized by a bank in Bhiwadi. The residents of Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi gained knowledge regarding investments, fixed deposits etc.
Ensuring that our residents develop a healthy bond of togetherness, a tambola game was organized for the seniors of Ashiana Shubham, Chennai.
The residents were enlightened after attending a session on health awareness at Ashiana Shubham, Chennai which was conducted by Dr. Vamsadhara.
Karwachauth Celebrations
The residents enjoyed the two days Karwachauth festival which started with ladies applying Mehendi on their hands and fasting the next day at Ashiana Utsav, Bhiwadi & Jaipur and Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi
New Year Celebrations
The residents of Ashiana Utsav, Bhiwadi & Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi danced to the tunes of Rajasthani folk songs whereas, the residents of Ashiana Utsav, Lavasa enjoyed a live band performance. The kids also joined their parents in this celebration.
Like every year, Tulsi Vivah Celebration was conducted at Utsav Temple, Bhiwadi. The temple was beautifully decorated by flowers. Residents enjoyed this religious function with bhajans and tasty food.
Seniors of Ashiana Utsav, Bhiwadi and Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi got active after attending the two days medical Yoga Workshop where the trainer taught them different exercises to live a healthy life.
The seniors across all Ashiana locations celebrated Christmas the right way with carol singing. The cherry on the top being Santa personally visited them all.
The residents of Ashiana Utsav, Jaipur and Ashiana Utsav, Bhiwadi celebrated World Elder’s Day by cutting the cake.

A Diabetes Awareness Health Talk Session was organised for the residents of Ashiana Nirmay, Bhiwadi where they got to know on how to prevent themselves from the disease.
Residents of Ashiana Utsav, Jaipur gathered to watch Ravan Dahan on the day of Dusshera to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
Living an active lifestyle, the seniors of Ashiana Utsav, Lavasa enjoyed the dance class in the society.

Diwali Celebrations
Diwali could not have been more special for the residents of Ashiana Dwarka, Jodhpur where they shared happiness and celebrated the festival of lights with the kids of Phoolwari.
Christmas Celebrations
It was a fun eve for the residents of Ashiana Navrang, Halol, Ashiana Dwarka, Jodhpur and Gulmohar Gardens, Jaipur as they played a lot of games like antakshari, musical chair etc. & were excited on receiving gifts from Santa.
With a belief that an athlete’s mindset and physical stamina is a long term asset which enables him to lead a successful life, a badminton competition was held for the kids of Ashiana Navrang, Halol in December.
Celebrating the triumph of good over evil, the residents of Ashiana Dwarka, Jodhpur organized Durga Puja & Dandiya Night in the society. The mothers and kids showcased their hidden talents and the event was enjoyed by everyone.
Supermoms is Ashiana's way to recognize the true super hero - Mothers. She is the pillar of strength for her loved ones. Her world is within a 10 km radius from the apartment. The family is fully dependent on her as she acts as the key agent & catalyst for leading a progressive and fulfilling life. The supermoms of Ashiana Navrang, Halol had a fun day where they played Tambola and had evening tea & snacks.

Road repairs at Rangoli Gardens were done to ensure proper maintenance along with the installation of new switches and RFID Tags for boom barriers.
